About Me

Welcome!I am Weijian Liang, a Ph.D. in Finance from Cardiff University (2020–2025).

I hold an M.Sc. in Real Estate from the University of Manchester and a B.Sc. in Management from Zhejiang University of Technology.

My research interests lie in Empirical Asset Pricing, Climate Finance, and LLM in Finance, with a focus on Real Estate. I am passionate about exploring important factors driving real estate capital market dynamics, from aggregate investment and expected growth implied from the investment CAPM to climate risk and opportunity originating from earnings conference calls.

I am actively pursuing a LLM-driven research agenda, extracting semantic signals from call transcripts, Fed press conferences, housing policy docs etc.
